Shining Stars is Passion Church’s vibrant special needs ministry in Kernersville, NC, created for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to experience joyful worship, clear and engaging Bible teaching, and genuine community. Meeting every Sunday at 9:30 AM, this ministry provides a safe, supportive environment where individuals with special needs can grow in their faith, build meaningful friendships, and discover their God-given purpose. Who is welcome?
Everyone is welcome in our Shining Stars class—any young adult with special needs, whether they prefer to attend independently or alongside a parent, guardian, or caretaker. Our environment is designed to be fun, safe, and engaging, with a warm community that embraces every individual just as they are. We understand that every person and family has unique needs, and we want you to feel fully comfortable before attending. If there are any circumstances or concerns you’d like us to be aware of, please contact us ahead of time. We will gladly work with you to ensure your experience is supportive, accommodating, and joy-filled.
