Passion Church

A home for the mission

Project OIKOS is our church family’s commitment to building a strong, sustainable future for Passion Church. OIKOS means “household,” and this initiative is about strengthening God’s house—spiritually, structurally, and financially—so we can continue reaching people, discipling families, and serving our community with excellence for years to come.

We’re doing this through a two-part approach to generosity. First, we’re inviting those who are able to make upfront, larger commitments to help meet immediate needs and accelerate what God is building right now.

Second, we’re leaning into consistent, long-term giving—weekly or monthly commitments that provide stability and sustainability over time. Together, these two expressions of generosity allow Project OIKOS to be both bold in vision and responsible in execution, ensuring that Passion Church remains transparent, healthy, and positioned for long-term impact.

How the Project goal breaks down

Upfront Gifts Goal: $120,000

Upfront gifts allow us to address immediate needs and create early momentum as Project OIKOS begins. These gifts come from many people giving at different levels, all playing an important role.

One way this goal could be met:

  • 1 family giving $50,000 = $50,000
  • 1 family giving $25,000 = $25,000
  • 1 family giving $10,000 = $10,000
  • 1 family giving $7,500 = $7,500
  • 1 family giving $5,000 = $5,000
  • 6 individuals or families giving $1,500 = $9,000
  • 8 individuals or families giving $1,000 = $8,000
  • 11 individuals or families giving $500 = $5,500

Total Upfront Gifts: $120,000

Long-Term Commitments Goal: $165,000 over 24 months

That equals $6,875 per month given consistently through weekly or monthly generosity. These commitments provide stability and allow us to plan responsibly for the future.

One way this monthly goal could be met:

  • 25 people giving $25/month = $625
  • 20 people giving $50/month = $1,000
  • 15 people giving $75/month = $1,125
  • 10 people giving $100/month = $1,000
  • 5 people giving $200/month = $1,000
  • 5 people giving $300/month = $1,500
  • 5 people giving $125/month = $625

Total Monthly Giving: $6,875
24-Month Total: $165,000

The Heart Behind the Numbers

For many of us, we’ll find ourselves somewhere within these examples. Some may realize they have the capacity to do more—perhaps a significant one-time gift like $75,000 or $100,000, or an ongoing commitment of $2,000 a month or more. Others may look at these numbers and feel like they’re far outside their reach—and for them, even $10 a month would be a meaningful and faithful stretch.

Both responses are valued. Both are needed.

Project OIKOS is not about equal gifts, but equal faith and obedience. We encourage everyone to participate at the level they feel God is calling them to, without comparison or pressure. No gift is too big or too small to matter, because when we work together, we can accomplish far more than any one of us ever could alone.
