This resource will give your family a clear, grace-filled place to begin.
Talking with your child about following Jesus does not require a perfect speech. Start by listening. Ask what they believe, what confuses them, and what they think Jesus has to do with their everyday life.
Keep Jesus at the center
- God created them and loves them.
- Sin is real and separates us from the life God intends.
- Jesus died and rose again to rescue us.
- Grace is received through trusting and following Him, not by pretending to be perfect.
Give them room to ask questions. You can be honest when you do not know an answer, and you can invite a pastor or ministry leader into the conversation.
Pastoral support matters. Church care and trusted resources can help, but they do not replace emergency, medical, legal, or licensed mental-health care when those are needed.
