This resource will give your family a clear, grace-filled place to begin.
Generosity is easier for children to understand when they can see it and take part in it. Serving together gives your family a chance to notice real needs, help real people, and talk about why followers of Jesus choose to put others first.
Keep it simple
- Choose one opportunity that fits your child’s age and attention span.
- Explain who you are helping without turning the person into a project.
- Afterward, ask what your child noticed and what they would want to do again.
The goal is not to manufacture a perfect spiritual moment. It is to let compassion and generosity become a normal part of your family’s life.
Pastoral support matters. Church care and trusted resources can help, but they do not replace emergency, medical, legal, or licensed mental-health care when those are needed.
