You do not need perfect words to pray for your child. Start with what is happening in their life, bring it honestly to God, and let Scripture give your prayer direction.
A simple seven-day rhythm
- Choose one short passage.
- Pray for your child’s faith, wisdom, friendships, courage, and future.
- Use their name and be specific.
- When appropriate, let them hear you pray for them.
Consistency matters more than length. A short, sincere prayer offered every day can shape both your child and your own heart.
Pastoral support matters. Church care and trusted resources can help, but they do not replace emergency, medical, legal, or licensed mental-health care when those are needed.
